Variants let you create multiple versions of your ad within the same campaign. Each Variant can have its own design, content, and message, making it easy to tailor ads to specific audiences, occasions, or strategies - all from a single creative setup.
While Scenes help you build a single ad with multiple steps or transitions, Variants allow you to manage entirely different ad versions in parallel. This is ideal for A/B testing, launching seasonal campaigns, running localized creatives, or personalizing content at scale.
Variants can be controlled in two ways. If you're using feed content, you can define dynamic rules to determine which Variant is shown based on your data. If you're not using a feed, you can schedule each Variant using a date interval. For example, you could set a Christmas-themed Variant to run from December 1st to 24th, and after that, the campaign will automatically switch back to your default design - no manual updates required.
Important: The last Variant in your campaign acts as a fallback. It is always shown when no other Variant's rules or date conditions are met. Because of this, the last Variant cannot have rules assigned to it. This ensures there’s always a default ad version ready to display, keeping your campaign running smoothly at all times.
Where Variants Are Supported
The Variants feature is available for use in HTML5 ads, Adhub-hosted ads, and Shopping Ads. Whether you're managing dynamic creative directly on our platform or distributing through retail feeds, Variants help you keep your campaigns flexible and relevant across formats. This ensures you can run personalized, seasonal, or A/B-tested content no matter how your ads are delivered.
