Working with Segments

Segments give you more flexibility than lists because they are dynamic. Instead of manually assigning leads, you create rules that automatically include or exclude contacts based on their attributes or behavior.

For example, you might build a segment for leads who signed up in the last 30 days. As new leads come in, they are added to the segment automatically. Once they pass the 30-day mark, they leave the segment without you needing to update anything manually.

Segments can be based on many types of data, such as signup date, signup source, or information provided in the form. This makes them perfect for targeting smaller groups of people with highly relevant campaigns.

Because segments update in real time, they are especially useful for time-sensitive campaigns or for nurturing new leads. They let you focus on strategy and communication instead of data management.
