Once you’ve created your product feed URL in CampaignBuilder, the next step is to connect it to Meta (Facebook & Instagram) via Meta Commerce Manager. This ensures that your product catalog stays up to date and powers your dynamic product ads (DPA). In Meta Commerce Manager you can upload your feed as a main data feed or add it as a supplementary feed to enrich an existing catalog without replacing the original feed.

Step 1: Get Your Feed URL in CampaignBuilder

  1. Log in to CampaignBuilder.

  2. In the left menu, click Products and select Product Feed.

  3. Find the product feed you want to connect.

  4. Click the three dots next to the feed and select Copy Feed URL.

Step 2: Open Meta Commerce Manager

  1. Log in to your Meta Business account.

  2. Navigate to Commerce Manager.

  3. Select the catalog you want to connect your feed to.

If It’s Your First Time Setting Up a Feed

  1. Go to Commerce Manager

  2. Click Add products, then choose Data Feed.

3. Select your Meta Pixel for conversion

4. Select Connect to a data feed

5. When prompted for feed source, select Use a URL and paste your CampaignBuilder feed URL.

6. Click Next.

7. Name your data feed and choose a default currency.

8. Set how often you want Meta to refresh the feed (e.g., daily)

9. Click Upload to submit the feed to your catalog.

After the upload completes, Meta will start importing your products from the feed.

You’ll see product entries in Catalog > Items once the upload is finished.

If You Want to Add a New, Separate Feed
If you already have a catalog and want to upload a different CampaignBuilder feed (for example for another market or product subset):

  1. In Commerce Manager, click Data Sources for your selected catalog.

  2. Click Add Items and select Data Feed again.

  3. Paste your new CampaignBuilder feed URL.

  4. Name this new feed and choose default settings.

  5. Upload the feed.

Now you will have multiple data sources listed under your catalog’s Data Sources section. Each feed can be used to update different products or markets.

If You Want to Add Your Feed as a Supplementary Feed
A supplementary feed lets you provide additional product information for items already in an existing primary feed without replacing the original. This is useful if you want to update specific fields like images or descriptions while keeping stock and pricing from the original source.

  1. In Commerce Manager, open Catalog > Data Sources.

  2. Scroll to the Supplementary feeds section.

  3. Click Add Supplementary feed.

  4. In the dialog, choose Use a URL and paste the CampaignBuilder feed URL you copied earlier.

  5. Give the supplementary feed a name.

  6. Select the primary feed(s) that this new feed will supplement.

  7. Set a refresh schedule if desired.

  8. Click Upload.

A supplementary feed will not create new items or remove existing ones, but it can enrich product data so that Meta uses values from your supplemental source for attributes you choose.

Tips for a Successful Setup

  • Ensure that your product IDs in CampaignBuilder’s feed match the IDs already used in Meta - this lets Meta correctly match items between primary and supplementary feeds.

  • Use scheduled refresh settings in Meta to keep products up to date automatically.

  • Check Catalog > Diagnostics in Commerce Manager after uploading if products don’t appear correctly.
